Jennifer Shepherd brings a unique blend of technical expertise and canine field experience to K9 Water Leak Detection University. As co-owner and operator of K&J HVAC Services, Jennifer understands the importance of infrastructure, efficiency, and problem-solving in service industries. Her professional background gives her valuable insight into the real-world needs of utilities and communities. Beyond her business, Jennifer is deeply committed to service and canine deployment. She actively volunteers in search and rescue operations and works with multiple canine partners, including K9 Eleanor and K9 Lux. Her experience handling dogs in demanding, real-world environments has strengthened her ability to read canine behavior, manage field conditions, and work effectively as part of an operational team. Jennifer is a certified canine-handler team with both K9 Eleanor and K9 Lux, bringing two operationally certified teams to canine-assisted water leak detection. Her experience with both dogs adds depth to her field work and reflects her commitment to training, readiness, and reliable deployment. Her combined expertise in business operations, technical service, search and rescue, and certified canine deployment makes Jennifer a valuable contributor to advancing water conservation and strengthening community resilience.

Robin Greubel is a nationally respected canine detection trainer and co-founder of Dog Day Acres, a working canine training and education facility focused on scent detection, handler development, and operational field applications. Through her work with the K9Sensus Foundation, Robin has helped advance innovative training methods and professional standards within the detection dog industry, emphasizing collaboration, science-based training, and real-world deployment readiness. Dog Day Acres serves as both a training environment and educational hub for detection teams across multiple disciplines.

Katherine “KD” Keim is a canine detection professional with experience in operational scent detection, handler development, and canine training support. Known for her dedication to professional standards and team development, KD has contributed to advancing detection dog training through hands-on fieldwork, mentorship, and collaborative industry efforts. Her work emphasizes reliable canine performance, practical deployment readiness, and continued growth within the detection dog community.

Meghan Bodie is a canine trainer and detection dog professional known for her work through Vickery K9, where she focuses on developing reliable working dogs and supporting handlers through practical, team-centered training.
